2|42 Community Church began as a prayer for a community of people who whole-heartedly followed Christ and were radical and innovative in their approach to the message of salvation through Jesus Christ. The prayer lingered for years without, what looked like, any progress. States away, God was beginning to create a team of people to help realize that prayer. After some time a move date was set and 30 people moved to Brighton, Michigan, from Kentucky, Ohio and Illinois.
2|42 Community Church launched on February 13, 2005, and has been going strong ever since. In March ′09, we launched a second campus in Ann Arbor. God has blessed us immensely since then and we′ve seen unprecedented growth! In fact, we ranked in the top 10 fastest growing churches in America for the past two years in a row. We don′t celebrate growth for ourselves, but for the opportunity to help more people take next steps with God.
