OUR CORE VALUES

At Revolution Community Church we hold tightly to what matters most and loosely to what doesn’t. These core values guide where we focus our time and energy as an organization. We are radically committed to these core values! Our staff live them out personally and enthusiastically encourage others to do so as well.

AUTHENTIC COMMUNITY​ [Heb. 10:24–25, Rom. 12:4–5, 1 Peter 3:8, Prov. 27:17]

You can’t follow Jesus in isolation. In a world plagued by individualism and loneliness, the church is an example of wholeness. We rest in the comfort and grow through the challenge of each other.

AUDACIOUS GENEROSITY [2 Cor. 9:7–9, Prov. 3:27, Deut. 16:17, John 3:16]

Don’t cling tightly to your resources, time, and giftedness. God gave it all to you for the good of us all. Live an open handed life. The church should lead the way in being the most generous group of people on the planet in every area.

PASSIONATE WORSHIP [2 Sam. 6:16, Ps. 84:2, Ps. 63:1]

There shouldn’t be any group or gathering on the planet as fun and crazy as people that get together to worship Jesus. Gatherings at Revolution are like a party where the family gets together and we sing together, celebrate, encourage, and challenge each other to be more like Jesus.

RELEVANT TRUTH ​ [Matt. 6–7, Luke 4:18–19, Eph. 4:29, 1 Cor. 9:19–22]

Application is everything. Following Jesus isn’t about knowing stuff; it’s about doing stuff. Everything that is taught at Revolution is done in a practical nature, and we want to apply truth to our lives by any means necessary. We utilize the tools of modern music, media, books and whatever it takes to relate to the culture of north central Indiana and beyond to illustrate the truth of Christ.

NEXT GENERATION [Ps. 127:3–5, Matt. 21:15–16, Matt. 18:2–10, Luke 18:15–17]

We believe that children and youth are extremely valuable in the kingdom of God and we create unique, relational environments for them to take next steps. We relentlessly evangelize and disciple the next generation.

NEXT STEPS [Eph. 4:12–16, Phil. 1:6, Ps. 1:1–3, 1 Cor. 13:10–12]

We are a gathering of people who are continually in process. It’s not about stopping or starting; it’s about continually and endlessly stepping. No one is finished growing into all that God has created and called them to be.

UNASHAMED MULTIPLICATION [Mark 16:15, Matt. 16:18, Matt. 28:19–20, Rom. 1:16]

Everything at Revolution has a multiplication goal. We want to multiply the amount of people that are followers of Christ. We want to multiply our Sunday Gatherings. We want to multiply leaders. We want to multiply our entire church where Revolution Community Churches exist all over the Midwest and beyond.

IMPERFECTION REQUIRED [Rom. 3:23, Rom. 8:8, 1 Thess. 5:14, Rom. 14:1]

We are a "come as you are" church. There is no dress code. It's completely your choice to wear khakis or jeans, a dress or sweats and a t-shirt when attending any event or gathering. Whatever your circumstances; single, married, single again, with or without children, and no matter where you've been or what you've done, you matter to God and you will experience the difference here.

EXCELLENCE IN EVERYTHING [Col. 3:23, 1 Cor. 9:24–25, Eccl. 9:10]

Doing our best for God is one of the top priorities of Revolution Church because he deserves it. We believe that there is no reason to do something unless it can be done with excellence. This relates to everything and everyone at Revolution.

Nothing should be more fun than serving God with the people you love. At Revolution we try to have fun every weekend and with everything we do.
