Renew Communities is a missional church in Berea, Ohio, that started in the spring of 2011.

We believe that only Jesus brings hope, salvation, purpose and renewal so we focus all of our movement toward encountering Jesus.

INNOVATIVE MISSION

God calls each of us to live as missionaries but he calls us all in different ways—we embrace and encourage innovative movement in the places where you live, work and play.

CATALYTIC CELEBRATION

Worship isn’t the finish line—it drives us into action. We gather, celebrate what God is doing and what he’s calling us to do and then we go back to where God has sent us to carry the hope we’ve found.

EXTENDED FAMILY

If you belong to Jesus you’re part of the family of God so we function as an extended family caring for each other and inviting others in.

SIMPLE REPRODUCTION

We believe in kingdom reproduction so we create simple systems to encourage reproduction on every level of church life from individual leaders to new huddles and missional communities to new churches.

Our dream locally is to be part of starting one new missional church in every neighborhood in Cleveland, Ohio and one new missional church in every suburb in Cuyahoga County. That's 84 new churches in the greater Cleveland area! Beyond Cleveland, we pray that God would give us influence to encourage, equip, and send many others to start new works throughout the country and the world. Our hope is that God would give us the opportunity to be a part of training hundreds of church planters and thousands of missional community leaders while working with as many other churches as possible to help accomplish this local vision.
