Journey Church

Pastor Jim Wilkes describes himself and the unexpected church planter. Fresh out of college he had his first experience in ministry being part of a church plant for five years. After leaving to take care of his mother who was battling cancer he got involved in another church plant for five more years. Needless to say he developed a passion for pioneering new local church plants by training, equipping and releasing people into various levels of leadership in and outside the local church.

Journey has a clear vision to reach 10,000 people for Jesus in the Greater Cleveland area. Our vision is plant 12 churches that form a network of churches that are 20 minutes from each other allowing there to be a church in drive time of all 1.2 million unchurched people in the greater Cleveland area. Once this is done it our goal to replicate this model of multiplication in another city.
