At Journey Bible Church, we want to help you become a passionate follower of Jesus Christ.

Becoming a follower, a disciple, of Jesus begins with an invitation. We’re not talking about a postcard in the mail. We’re talking about that still, small voice from God that says, “Come follow me.” Those who choose to follow him commit themselves to learning all they can about him. They learn to imitate him—in character words and actions. They then tell others and help disciple others to know and be like Jesus.

We believe that there are four critical components to being a person who is passionately following Jesus—connect, grow, serve, and go.

Connect refers to our need to connect in relationship with God and in a community of other believers who can support and encourage us along the journey. Grow is exactly how it sounds. Followers of Jesus are to be growing in our understanding, character, relationships and more. We must all serve the body of Christ—the church—by using the unique gifts and passions that God has given us. And we are to go on mission to reach people in our community, our city and the world with the gospel of Jesus.
